Anaheim Man Killed in Single Car Crash

The crash occurred on Sunday, May 14th, and did not involve any other vehicles. Bussey was driving on the I-15 freeway going south when he hit a freeway sign pole and was flung from his truck. He was driving for a moving company called Moving Stars Inc., when his vehicle went through a guardrail and hit the La Mesa Road/Nisqualli Road exit sign. The crash occurred at about 8:37 A.M., according to the coroner at San Bernardino County.

The coroner pronounced Bussey dead at about 8:45 A.M. In the statement by California Highway Patrol, it was revealed that Bussey was not wearing a seatbelt.

Another passenger was in the truck was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Center. He is a male in his forties, and his condition has not yet been revealed.

Bussey’s family and friends set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for his funeral costs. According to the information on the page, they believed Bussey was driving home and had fallen asleep behind the wheel. The accident is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol in Victorville, California.
